People have been faithfully meeting together, praying and worshipping God at St Thomas for 160 years.

More recently, the existing St Thomas congregation partnered with Manchester Diocese, Revitalise Trust and a team from Nelson Street Church in Rochdale to revitalise mission in the local area and become a Resource Church for Bury.

We believe that God is at work in the world, and that he invites us to be part of his plan, a plan to see people experience freedom, forgiveness, and his life-transforming love.

We love Jesus, we love the Bible, we love praying and worshipping together, and we love our town. We believe that God speaks to us today and is at work in the world and in our lives through the Holy Spirit.

You are welcome to come and join us, whether you know Jesus, want to know Jesus, have questions about life and faith, or you'd just like to make friends in your community.

Our building is beautiful but needs some care. We're currently working on improvements, including a new heating system, better accessibility, and upgraded toilets and kitchen, so it's fit for purpose for the next season. During this work, we'll still be gathering to worship nearby, so check back for the latest information.
